White on my tong is it a sign of cancer or could it just be strep throat?

My tong has white on it and my throat itches|||Strep throat is identified by red spots all over the back of your upper throat.

Mononucleosis presents white glob(s) on the back of your throat, by your tonsils.

White on your tongue itself could just be normal skin/hairs, but you'd have to elaborate more.|||Can you wipe the white off of your tongue? Are you brushing your tongue when you brush your teeth? How old is your toothbrush? It's normal to sometimes have a whitish coating on your tongue. Brush good and rinse well. If you have a sore throat that persists for more than 2 days see a Dr
