Does anyone know how to achieve a great curl using a curling tong?

That reallyb depends on your personal hair type, your ethnicity, how thick or thin your hair is and who's going to be curling it. ( you or a beautician ) I'm african american and often use a curling iron to do curly do's. Being african american my hair is naturally dry ( due to relaxing ) Before i use the curling iron I make sure to moisturize my hair first ( so the iron won't dry it out completly ) Then i pick my style. If you plan on doing this yourself make sure you can see what your doing in the back ( so you won't miss any spots ) or have a girlfriend or mom help you.


After picking your style use a product that has some hold to it. Moose, gel and hairspray. Apply that to the section of hair to be curled.


Comb/brush through that section that is to be curled and then curl that section.


For big fat curls use a curling iron with a large barrel


For tiny curles use a curling iron with a tiny barrel
