Is185 degrees is a good temp 4 a curling tong?

i am going to by a babyliss... curling tong, the 16mm one and the temp 4 it is 185 the others are more like 200-210 degrees is 185 ok


and what type of curls will i get with a 16mm barrel size?


thankz xxx|||it really depends on how fine or thick ur hair is...i wouldn't curl my hair excessively with the iron if it's that hot because it could cause damage as it would with any other styling tool that uses extreme heat. Use a heat protectant spray or cream to protect the hair and it should be ok. with a 16mm barrell you'll get smaller curls. Good Luck!|||the temperature you set it at depends on what type of hair you have-the finer the hair the less heat youneed-if its thick and curly use more heat be careful its not too hot or it will scorch.Just experiment with the different temps for your hair type start with a low setting like you mentioned 185?
