What is the product that i can use before i use my curling tong?

my hair is golden brown and wavy,i want to change the style of my hair.|||Let's see... you can first apply some heat protection serum. Then use a curling iron, go in sections and use some hair spray. This will cause a dramatic hair style. Keep bangs strait.
