Im scarede i got my tong peirced and im scared it will get infected what chance do i have that it wont?

i got my tong peirced and it's sore i had it for 3 days almost how long it it suppost to stay swolen? I also heard it will split if its in the wrong place i need advice please write back. whats the chance out of ?/100 it will not or will get infected? |||I hope you don't talk like you type lol|||rinse your mouth out daily with hot water and salt, its a saline solution, that will keep your tongue clean and stop any infections.
