The ammeter reads 300A. You use a tong meter to measure the current flowing into the ammeter,?

it reads only 2.5A. Why?|||Because the current supply that goes into the ammeter is coming from a CT which has a ratio of 120 to 1.





The ammeter is actually only measuring 2.5A. The scale on the front of it is written 120 times what is actually flowing.
